At the 6th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Japanese Society of Foot Care and Podiatric Medicine, held from February 27th to 28th , a presentation was given on comprehensive angiogenesis therapy for severe chronic lower limb ischemia (CLTI) using ICS-001, which is currently undergoing clinical trials.
As a sponsored seminar co-hosted by our company, under the moderation of Dr. Atsuhiko Kawamoto of the Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster (TRI), presentations were given by Dr. Osamu Iida, Chairman of the Clinical Trial, Dr. Masahide Furukawa of Oita Oka Hospital, Dr. Yasuyuki Fujita of the Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster (TRI), and our CEO, Kenichi Yamahara, all of whom are cooperating in this clinical trial.
We have been selected for the "J-StarX Biotech Accelerator Program," an entrepreneurship development program run by JETRO that supports startups aiming to enter the US market in the biopharmaceutical field .
Using this program as a springboard, we will accelerate the overseas expansion of angiogenesis therapy using ICS for critical lower limb ischemia.
We received a Special Jury Prize at the "Changing Tomorrow" pitch contest, hosted by LINK-J and held on February 12th, as part of the "Innovation Series for the Kashiwanoha-Tsukuba Life Science Cluster."
Taking this as an opportunity, we will strongly promote the development of angiogenesis therapy using ICS for severe lower limb ischemia .
