A physician-initiated clinical trial of comprehensive, severe chronic lower limb ischemia (CLTI) angiogenesis therapy using Injectable cell scaffold (ICS-001), developed by CEO Kenichi Yamahara, has commenced with support from AMED's "Bridging Research Program. " The trial was initiated in August 2023 at Hyogo College of Medicine Hospital, which is designated as the clinical trial site.
In this clinical trial, the Medical Innovation Promotion Center (TRI) of the Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster, which has extensive experience in developing cell therapies for CLTI, will serve as the clinical trial coordination office. With expert advice from the TRI, we aim to conduct the trial as quickly as possible.
